Tour Mexico City's architecture, history and vibrant art
Mexico City's architecture is diverse and eclectic, with influences from ancient civilizations, Spanish colonialism, France, and contemporary design. Enjoy a short tour which includes:

This video is not a review or a showing you all the functions. I just have a love for photography and purchased the Sony RX100M3 and really love it. This video just shows you some shots from the camera. It was my first time taking it out for a test ride to see how it performed. It will be in my pocket OFTEN!

I have never been around horses before in my life. I moved to a location where there are horses in the fields daily and I love to go feed them carrots and mango's. They have become a true love of mine. I hope you enjoy the video and thank you to Roberto and Valentino for keeping these beautiful animals looking pretty!

This makes me want to go NOW! Love the decorations! And that ladder! Awesome video... thanks for sharing!
It’s is an incredible place 🤩. Thanks for watching!!
Hey there...ive been trying to get an email address or way to text you. Im interested in maybe moving... do you like where you are....was it easy to move there.....
@@gretchenheilman7275 hey Gretchen! Hope all is well!! Costa Rica is beautiful and in December it will be 4 years living here. The 2 things I can say is 1) if you live in an area where it’s touristy or built up where you can access things readily it’s expensive (think $3,000-$5,000 per month minimum to live off of). If you move to a small Tico town you will need to learn the language (I still can’t say a sentence but I’m learning 😂) and you can live off of $2,500 per month. 2) Healthcare is awesome but you will pay similar for insurance as you do in the US or you can get residency. You would need a lawyer if you don’t speak the language and it will run average $5,000+ and it takes about 1-1.5 years to get it. Then you are required to pay into their healthcare system and if you can prove you make a min pension of $1,000/month it’s very affordable. It was a difficult transition but after 3-3.5 years we are finally enjoying it to the max! Also, cars are VERY expensive! If you live in a location where you need a car you would MINIMUM need $15,000 to get one you can trust. New cars will cost you about 20-25% more than if you purchase in the US.
Thanks for taking us on your adventure 😮
Debbie would have been telling us to move faster 😂😂
What a beautiful trip! Miss and love you, SM
PS : Glad you didn’t run into any 🐻

Wonderful video! Planning a trip to the area and this was really helpful! Thank you :D
Beautiful video. Just sad to see construction for such a huge house, making such an unnecessarily oversized footprint in such a gorgeous place, destroying the habitat of all the wonderful creatures that live there.
Great video! I can’t believe how much it has changed since then. Miss you guys!
Eddie!!! It’s incredible how much it has changed in the past 3 years! It’s a beautiful location! We miss you and Sandra!! Hopefully we can catch up soon! I hope life is going GREAT!

There is some great fishing there!! I hope you caught some big ones!!

Nice video Kellie!
Hi Eddie!! When you come visit I will get a video of you mucking the stalls 😂😂. Miss you guys!!! Can’t wait for your return!!
great video, you have to go to San Juanillo beach, Samara, Tamarindo..., without beaches and beautiful places too... congratulations...!
Thank you for your kind words! I live between Langosta and Avellana and need to do more videos. Thanks for the encouragement!!
First surf trip in 1993 with my middle school kids and stayed in forever under construction hotel on ocean front point, ate at Olga’s and some wood fired pizza place. Had to pump gas from 55 gallon drum at local gas station. Fortunately there were other much better surf spots during that first trip.
I’m sure it’s changed a lot since ‘93 but some places still exist that you mentioned! There are a lot of fun surf spots along the Pacific coast for sure!

Kalia are developers that destroy the beauty of Costa Rica for profit. How can Kaila claim they are sustainable and eco-friendly as 'Costa Rica's fastest growing luxury home' developers with "1,000 acres of lush land, plotted and ready for you to build the home of your dreams" on? If I was going to move to Costa Rica, I think I would much prefer to support people who were doing something to save the natural habitat not plow it down to build more infinity pools. Buy a plot of land that has already been cleared, rebuild better, and then plant native plants all around that. Don't support the gross behavior that Kalia seems to be thriving on... this grossly disguised eco-friendly luxury home developer and the people that pour wealth into the destruction of costa rica is exactly the kind of people that will have the globe in flames in 50 years.
I did not build in Kalia. I opted to build on a lot and had an architect that was passionate about tropical design. We built the house so it was actually hidden among the tropical garden of native plants. We build using the best septic system and had a bionest installed to reuse black water. It’s our responsibility to build responsibly and not encourage the builders, architects, etc to build frivolous to destroy the environment. It’s ultimately our responsibility to tame the beasts.
Talvez ella no hace eso que dices, pero si es cierto que estan construyendo muchas casas de lujo en esos lugares,y destruyendo el habitad de flora y fauna.Saludos desde san Ramón de Alajuela Costa Rica.
Love me the north point ☝️ and staying at lodge vista Del Mar

How is Nosara for a 20 month old kid??
Hello! If your a Facebook you can find pages like Nosara Recommends and you can ask what activities would be fun for a 20 month old. I don’t have children so I would leave it up to those that have younger children to give you better answers. I’m leaving tomorrow to move to Nosara as my permanent residence so I know I fell in love with it 😃

I loved it there but also my place was broken into three times and all my laptops and camera gear was stolen... back in 2012.
Yes, it is sad that there is petty theft there and it happens every day. I just know how to protect myself the best way possible to avoid this from happening. I am moving to Nosara end of 2020 and happy I am moving from a place that has more concrete that land, there were 4 shootings/deaths within a few blocks from where I live. There was an attack and near rape a block from where I lived and cars are broken into on a daily basis. I see no terrorist attacks, mass shootings, school shootings, or other horrible acts of violence so I choose that over the USA (which I love!). But ready for a lifestyle much different. BUT you are so right...petty theft is real and you need to be aware of it. Thanks and I hope you did see the beauty.
@@scubarocks2004 They climbed multiple stories on ladders, and broke in the smallest of windows. They peeled back bars of window covered cages. I found origami pieces and soda cans in the woods where they waited for us to leave. Its a place that is beautiful but you need to constantly be on alert which makes me sad.
Vitamindevo it is really sad that it happens 😢. I 100% agree with you.
Heaven on earth. Love it there so much. It gives me goose bumps when I watch this!
Richard Sharpe I feel the same, Richard. I fell in love with Nosara the first time I went. Do you live there? I’m building a home and will be there towards the end of next year. Beyond excited. So happy to see your comment! Thank you!

i was there a month ago it was awesome
me is cool glad you liked it! I LOVE Nosara!!!
What time of the year there is less snow? August, setpember or october?
Thee Oneee Noee32 Hello! I have to admit I’m not positive as I had no knowledge of Mt. Whitney and was asked to climb it the day before I did. I had no idea what to expect! I don’t want to fathom a guess but I would contact the park to find out the best time for you to climb. Sorry for the lack of answer!
Oh wow Im a former runner but yeah i want to do something a little different and get to new places. Thats is the ultimate challenge. It was july and there was a lot of snow to be that time of year. Nice video tho. I would like to find a group too to do that hike. Is there like groups that usually do it?
Thee Oneee Noee32 I am an ultra distance runner and this climb was a significant challenge 😬. I went with the group that I crewed Badwater with but I’m sure you can find groups on social media that try to organize climbs!
@@scubarocks2004 yeah it does not look easy, one thing is that I do not want to camp I would like to do it in one try. Thanks for the tip tho
Great video! What month did you go? (June?) I wonder how the waves are that time of the year. I'm a beginner and thinking of going in April.
Mila's Dance Party hello! Thank you! I did go on june and I love surfing but the 2 times I went in June the waves were too big (large swells) so I had to just surf the inside whitewater. The waves are much different than where I live! I’m moving there (building a home now) so I’m looking forward to getting better! The best thing to do is find a local surf shop or surf camp and reach out to see when the waves would be best for a beginner. Dec through April is high/dry season and it’s more populated. This past Oct (which is the month it rains the most) I think the flooding was horrible and there may have been 1 or 2 good days of surf. I’m NO expert but the locals are!
@@scubarocks2004 great, awesome! I'll ask some local shops
We are heading to a surf camp in Nosara December 1st. Can’t wait. Great video
David Miller Awesome!! Which surf camp? You will love it! I’m building a home in Playa Guiones and moving there full time in 2 years...that’s how much I love it 😃. I can’t wait to hear how your trip goes!!
Kellie Smirnoff we are going to Corky Carrols surf camp for a week. We are using this as our scouting trip for a place to live. Sun, surf and outdoor living.
David Miller wonderful!! I have a feeling you will fall in love. Nosara is getting to be very expensive as it is one of the most sought after expat locations but it’s the only place I’ve ever been where I didn’t want to come back home. If you ever decide Nosara is your winning location I will be happy to share any of my resources and experiences. HAVE A BLAST!!! Pura Vida!!

Ping Hi Ping!! Glad you enjoyed the video! OMG the 2 times I went to Nosara I could not make it past the break so had to surf the inside as the whitewater was rebuilding. The drift was insane! Good workout 😂. How often do you make it to Nosara? I just purchased a lot and going to build and move there full time so this way I can actually surf the outside 😂. Thanks for your comment!!
That is such a super cute home!! Thanks for sending! I’m building my home right by your family’s home (to live in...not rent out). Hopefully our paths will cross at some point and I’ll keep your family’s home in mind for the future visits! Great location’
This is the best short travel video I've ever seen. You used a MAP! Who does that? Put notes on the map! Captions with the video. You shot an SUV going through a puddle to show what it's like driving in Nosara in the rainy season. Who does that? There are so many details I'll have to watch it more. "Let's check out Guiones". might not be noticed, but I haven't seen that before. Who else invites the view to join them?

Hello! Thanks for your comment. Not sure if your making fun of me or you like the video 😂 but I appreciate you stopping by! I love Nosara!
No, not making fun at all. I wish everyone's trip videos were like this one. Have you watched any from others? I appreciate what I learn from them, but some are a slog. I've realized from watching yours how important good editing is (among other things you did).
By the way, what video editing software do you use? I'd like to try to make a video like this the next time I go to Costa Rica.
I hope you'll make many more videos like this one. The world needs them! I just watched another video on Nosara and half of it was the guy's face. The only thing I wondered about your is why at the beginning you didn't zoom in on Costa Rica and put a pin in Nosara. To keep the location secret? :- )
